LogiLink Professional NMC001 is a standalone Gigabit media converter that converts the Ethernet signal from twisted-pair cable to fibre. It lets you extend an existing Gigabit network with a fibre link without renewing the entire network infrastructure, for example between buildings or when copper cable length is not sufficient. The fibre connection is made with an interchangeable SFP module.
