Teltonika RUT286 connects mobile, wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks for business and IoT applications. RutOS provides connection monitoring, a firewall and VPN connectivity. The global Telit LTE Cat 4 modem supports international deployments.

- Wi-Fi 4 (802.11b/g/n), 2.4 GHz; 2 × 10/100 Mbps Ethernet (1 WAN and 1 LAN).
- 2 × Mini SIM (2FF). eSIM: up to 7 profiles; data plans are not included.
- WAN failover and load balancing; WireGuard, OpenVPN and IPsec VPN. RMS remote management support.
- RS232 without flow control, half-duplex RS485 (2 wires) and an internal microSD slot (up to 2 TB).
