Tempo OmniMarker II is a passive electronic marker ball for marking and locating key points of buried utilities. Inside the ball is a large gimballed coil that automatically orients itself horizontally when buried. This ensures a location “sweet spot” directly above the point of interest, regardless of how the marker lies in the ground.
OmniMarker II uses the industry-standard frequencies and can be detected with any electronic marker locator, such as the Tempo EML150 or EML100. When excited by the locator, the passive circuit produces a precise dipole field directly above and below the marker. It contains no liquids, hazardous chemicals, batteries or active components, so it is safe for the environment and built to last.
