Poynting MIMO-8 combines eight cellular antennas and a dual-band GNSS antenna in one rugged housing. The omnidirectional 8×8 MIMO antenna is suitable for 5G/LTE connections in vehicles, boats and industrial applications.
Choose the model and colour
- MIMO-8-801: 9 antennas – 8 cellular and 1 GNSS. No Wi-Fi antennas.
- MIMO-8-841: 13 antennas – 8 cellular, 4 Wi-Fi and 1 GNSS. Wi-Fi supports a 4×4 MIMO configuration.
- Both models are available in black (B) and white (W). Cable length is 2 m or 5 m.

- Positioning: one dual-band GNSS antenna in both models.
- Wi-Fi on the 841 model: 2400–2500 MHz and 5000–7200 MHz, maximum gain 9.3 dBi. The frequency range also covers Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 connections.
- Factory-fitted 2 m or 5 m cables. Cellular and GNSS connectors are SMA male; Wi-Fi connectors on the 841 model are RP-SMA male.
- IP69K and IK10 ratings. Operating temperature −40 to +80 °C. Wind resistance up to 220 km/h.
Installation and compatibility
The antenna does not require a metal ground plane. The manufacturer offers spigot and surface mounting, plus magnetic, pole and wall mounting with accessories. Choose the mounting method for the installation site and follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
Suitable for 5G routers with eight antenna ports, two four-port modems or two separate four-port routers. Check the number of antenna ports, frequency bands and connector types on your device. The 801 model has no Wi-Fi antenna connections.
