KLOTZ F2US55 FiberLink OS2 – technical data
KLOTZ F2US55 is a pre-terminated two-fibre single-mode fibre optic cable wound on a cable drum, with two LC/UPC connectors at both ends. It is intended for event technology, broadcast and AV production, and temporary or fixed field installations that require long and durable fibre links.
The FiberFlex ULTRA cable is extremely rugged and flexible and is also suitable for outdoor use. It withstands shear pressure well, allows narrow bending radii and has low kinking sensitivity. Aramid yarns provide strain relief.

Transmission properties

- Attenuation 1310 nm: under 0.35 dB/km
- Attenuation 1550 nm: under 0.21 dB/km
Example: the fibre attenuation of a 500 m cable at 1310 nm is under 0.18 dB (0.35 dB/km × 0.5 km). Connector losses come in addition.
