KLOTZ F12US15A is a 12-channel OS2 singlemode breakout cable for connecting the SmartBeam DODEKA 12 system to LC/UPC equipment. One end has a rugged SmartBeam DODEKA 12 lens connector and the other has 12 individual LC/UPC connectors. SmartBeam uses contactless Expanded Beam technology, so the fiber end faces do not physically touch. This reduces wear, keeps insertion loss stable and improves reliability in dusty and demanding environments. The SmartBeam connector withstands more than 3,000 mating cycles and is IP67 dust- and water-resistant when connected or fitted with the included protective cap. KLOTZ FiberFlex ULTRA contains 12 OS2 singlemode fibers, a durable PUR jacket and aramid-fiber strain relief. It supports up to twelve simultaneous 10 Gbit/s links over distances up to 10 km.
